Honduras Mission trip - July '04

I'm back! My trip to Honduras was great. If you don't know where Honduras is, it's in Central America. I loved every thing about the country. The people where so nice, the food was great, and the country was beautiful. We had some great opportunities to share the love of God. The idea was to go to all the public Schools to boldly share the Gospel, but when we got there the Public schools went on strike for the first time in 50 years so we hade to change our plans. Hey that's the nature of mission trips, so we went to private schools. I got to do some mini concerts that were really fun. One of the schools had 600 high school kids, it was awesome. I don't think I have hade a response like that before. They loved it. I was able to share my heart with them and why I sing because of what God Has done in my life. I got the opportunity to meet with some of the pastors there and I was so humbled by them. Their love for Christ and their love for the people was amazing. I was able to build some great relations with them and was asked to come back to do some major out reach events possibly in January or February. Also they have put my CD on rotation there on the radio . God is doinging awesome things in Honduras and I'm excited to see what happens next.
